Residing in the Seattle metropolitan area for over two and a half decades, I relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area. The Northwest presents an exceptional environment for photographers, offering diverse and captivating seasonal subjects.

Currently, I call Kirkland, a vibrant city, home to my wife, three children, and two canine companions. I find no desire to reside elsewhere within the Northwest.

My photographs have been featured in esteemed publications such as National Geographic Magazine, CNN, 425 Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Seattle Weekly, Parade, and others. Notably, I have collaborated with esteemed clients including Microsoft, Seattle Mariners, HTC, The Four Seasons Hotel, Canadian Tourism Board, Davis Wright Tremaine, and the Allen Institute in Seattle.

On WeddingWire, I have garnered over 135 five-star reviews and have been recognized as one of Seattle’s top wedding photographers for five consecutive years. My passion for capturing weddings extends to the joy of meeting new individuals. I firmly believe that wedding photographs should encapsulate the celebration, conveying vibrant colors, emotional depth, and aesthetic beauty. Each wedding I undertake holds significance, whether it is an intimate backyard ceremony or a grand church event. Together, we will meticulously plan your timeline to ensure optimal photography while allowing the Bride and Groom to fully engage with their guests.

One of my most gratifying experiences was witnessing Steve Jobs viewing one of my photographs on the newly released iPad during the iPad keynote and release event.

My fascination with photography began during my childhood, as I played with my father’s Nikon cameras and lenses. From a young age, I recognized that this creative outlet would become an integral aspect of my life. I still possess the Yashica Electro 35, Nikon F, and Nikomat cameras that I received as hand-me-downs from my father.

As a committed supporter of local charities, I would be delighted to explore any opportunities to utilize my photography skills for charitable causes.

Thank you for exploring my photographs. I genuinely appreciate your consideration. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email at [email protected] or text message at 425-443-3848.

Sincerely,

Rick
